Processing of Personal Data

At Hydrumedical S.A., we collect limited personal data with the sole purpose of maintaining close and personalized contact with our customers, informing them about our news, promotions, and new product catalogs.

We collect your personal data when you request clarification of a doubt, send a complaint or suggestion, or place an order to purchase products.

Purposes, Legal Grounds, and Data Retention Period

The personal data we collect is intended for:

  • Establishing communication in response to requests for information, complaints, or doubts.

Purpose of Processing:

  • Data Retention: Up to 5 years after the last contact or 10 years for archiving invoices, according to the tax law in force.

  • When the processing is necessary to enter into a contract with you or carry out its execution.
  • When the processing is necessary to fulfill the legal obligations to which Hydrumedical S.A. is subject.

When the processing of personal data depends on your consent, this must be free, express, unequivocal, and informed.

Whenever new personal data is collected that requires your consent, Hydrumedical S.A. will request your express authorization, providing all necessary information, including the purpose of the processing, the retention period of the personal data, and your rights.

Legitimate Interest of the Controller

Hydrumedical S.A. processes your personal data to carry out tasks related to our business activities. The GDPR recognizes that the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes may constitute a legitimate interest of the company. If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us, you may object to their processing at any time by contacting us via email at dpo@hydrumedical.pt.

Data Retention

Hydrumedical S.A. retains all personal data for as long as the existing commercial relationship remains in force. Unless consent is withdrawn, we retain personal data for up to five years after the date of termination of the commercial relationship or last contact made. We may keep your personal data for longer periods under pending legal obligations.
